We often think of and see Jesus as a superhero, undaunted by the opposition to His purpose. Yet, Jesus, being a man, shuddered at His ultimate Sacrifice and wanted a way out. But by His empowered spirit, He remained submitted to God for His will to be done. And that's the crux between man’s and God’s version of leadership. Adam’s leadership was based on his will to be a god, while Jesus was based on supporting God’s leadership. When we lead by submission, we eventually lead by example. And thus earn headship!

Everything Adam experienced, Jesus became exposed to it. Jesus did not enter the world with the Armor of God. He had to learn to wear it! Jesus had to experience sin in all its forms; first by sight, then vicariously, and then ultimately by will, receiving the weight of sin on His shoulders to be the perfect Blood Sacrifice for all mankind. The reason Adam fell was because he sought leadership by his own will, while Jesus earned headship by submitting to God’s will. The reason for this is that God, who oversees all His creations, has to be the one to grant leadership. To place the mantle on your shoulders. This is because true leadership is a learned character that is only defined by God. Not by man! But what about the natural leader? That is an oxymoron!

A baby is not born with the leadership dna but imitates those traits from others who themselves experienced leadership through life’s lessons, mentorship, and education. One doesn't express leadership. One can only demonstrate leadership. First to oneself, and then to different groups of people. A true reflection of leadership and headship is a spiritual one, as it is not based on knowledge, charisma, or resources. These are corruptions to God’s type of leadership which relies on His Spirit, and not from man’s efforts, facades, and processions; which are all satan’s traits for his devices, deceptions, and destructions. This is why the masses are constantly fooled by corrupted pastors, politicians, and purveyors of the body, intellectual superiority, and spiritual self-idolizations. Because those types of leadership feed the flesh while God empowers the spirit.

Every child has the spirit of headship by God’s breath, but by influences, especially to conform and respect hierarchy, it is subdued. Both the Bible and science prove this. You train up a child in the way they are to go; either by Righteousness or by evil. A child sees, thinks, and correlates headship by those around them, the lessons taught, and by punishment. This is part of the generational curse because as we grow, not necessarily maturing, we eventually take on the traits of adults that impact our lives. It is only until we acknowledge our only identity is in Christ, then our spirit seeks God’s Spirit for guidance, which ultimately means we have to lead ourselves first, then others. As parents we always color, frame, or support our child’s sin, disobedience, or pride with the Word of God. We led, exposed, and educated (draw out) her spiritual dna given by God. Because even though we were her parents; we all remain only children of God. The Bible cites many icons who, despite growing up around evil, once they look to God, their leadership skills are developed. This is why many are called, but few are chosen. We often deny God’s call because we know it could mean suffering, persecution, and trials. All true leaders accept this as part of their legacy. Because that's what Christ did!

This is why before Jesus’ ascension and Pentecost, followers of Jesus are noted as disciples, including the twelve. And then, after denying their flesh, mind, and spirit in the upper room, they became Apostles. The former are only followers while the latter are acknowledged as representatives, true ambassadors by the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God. Each and others, becoming Righteous leaders in their own right, destination, and purpose. Single-minded for God!

Too often, many Christians proclaim they are called to be a helper, usher, or media support within the Church. Yet, Jesus, the ultimate shepherd, only led His flock into danger, confrontation, and possible death. Most of what the Church has adopted comes from Paul, who was tasked and overwhelmed by the many ministries he supported. Yet, Paul, although known for Church building, is more noted for being an evangelist, preaching the good news and teaching on the aptitudes, attitudes, and actions Christians should display. Paul was demonstrating leadership just as Christ did. We see this example in the Bible. Jesus left the main flock to seek the single lost sheep. Paul states a church is the Body of Christ requiring different builders, characters, and levels of leadership. For the single purpose of Salvation!

Whether you are in front, in the middle, or behind in a gathering of Christians, you are to lead. This leadership is about God; His Kingdom, and Sovereignty. Here’s what it's not about! Denominational doctrines, social events, and most certainly unsupported theologies. It's about the Word, edification of the Word. and the Body’s works that bring Glory to God by miracles, Faith, and the defeat of the enemy. It’s about Victory over all forms of darkness in the person, family, and the world. This headship starts with you!

When God created Adam, He did not want him to be disobedient, disillusioned, or disoriented. He wanted him perfect. How do we know this? Because Jesus, the second Adam, was obedient, optimistic, and organized. This is because Jesus was made man as Adam was. The breath of God; His Spirit was placed in Adam at creation, as it was in Jesus at conception. The only prime difference between the two men is that Jesus was already a part of God as the Word that became flesh. But both had to deal with the hand that was dealt to them. Adam was created to be sovereign as God is. But with Jesus as the Word, being a tri-part of God was not able to be sovereign as man was destined to be. So being born of flesh, He surrendered to its frailties, mortalities, and distresses. Why? Because once Adam succumbed to death, darkness, and destruction the curse took over his spirit, mind, and body.

The world is left to their devices, but the church is under God’s Hand for the gathering, promotion, and leadership of the saints. This is why headship is critical for God; and His reasons for the organization, operation, and oppositions of the many facets through His many ministries. Yes; oppositions! A prime example is between Peter and Paul, who often were at odds with each other; yet, it was produced by their individual headship benefits, bounties, and blessings that grew the Church. One Body; several hands, feet, and minds; all coordinated in the midst of the world’s chaos, destruction, and defiances. God still remains sovereign despite satan’s corruption efforts to subvert His Kingdom’s will, plans, and foundations.

Who can defy God? The more one shakes their fist at Him, the more He laughs. God is the ultimate head. Not because He is all-powerful, and knows every thought of man. But because He embraces headship and leads regardless of any form of challenge to His Throne. He leads, and so must the true remnant Church! God remains calm, collected, and controlled in all His actions, declarations, and orchestrations. God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. The moment He created Eden, this was demonstrated, and continues historically through the Bible, and even today. He knows the end before the beginning, or rather, the start of implementation. This is why evil is futile, because without the beginning, there is no end, which sets the course of success despite the hills and valleys experienced. God only does Victory! It's innate in Him!

Where the world and even some Christians see turmoil, doomsday scenarios, and regret, God remains secure, dedicated, and irrevocably focused on the Salvation of His creations. A single-mindedness that is reflected in so many successful people around the globe. These traits are all seeded in all of us, but by the world’s teachings have become weakened, watered down, and wasted by distractions that are devious in nature to keep us from God’s destinies, declarations, and decrees for each nation, city, and of us. Yet, history reveals several men and women who overcame dire, evil, and overwhelming circumstances once they ignored the noise and envisioned their rightful place in the world, not as servants but leaders in their own right.

The problem with the world is headship, that is, leadership, which is the same in the church. In both governance, it is only by the fear of the law, status, and greed that motivates the relevant authorities. God designed this perplexity in the DNA of man not for confusion, doubt, and anxiety but to isolate those He will fight for because by their free will submission, they become His flock that is shepherds to be led and used for His plans, purposes, and predestinations, being a child of the Kingdom of Righteousness. All Godly men and women through the Bible were subject to a worldly authority, but by God’s intervention became Righteously purposeful, not by talent but by their heart for His Glory. We are all called for this!
