It was not their disobedience that cursed the ground, making it dry, desolate, and a desert. This only removed God’s Glory from them. Because He is El Qanna! Which is like a father’s disappointment, anger, or distress when the child heeds the stranger’s advice; often resulting in favor being removed to administer a lesson as stated; “train (guide, consecrate, set apart) up a child (Righteously) so they will not depart from it” - Prov. 22:6. The land outside the Garden was already desolate and God used this disappointment as an opportunity to bless them with the one exception that would be their light in a dark world! They would have to develop Faith! Without which, as stated, “Faith only pleases God” - Heb. 11:6. You see; most fathers train their child for obedience;  but God trains for legacy as stated; “if children, then heirs of God” - Rm. 8:17.. The type of Faith they applied would either work or not work for them. Faith is belief in action which is incubated and directed by our words! Many say, “It was by their sin that God cursed the ground”. That’s religion, not Christianity! Why?

January 18, 2026.

The New Year.

The journey does not end with the summer season, for it is spiritually the foundation of both the Jews' and the Christian’s Covenant with God. It is the season for energizing, continuation, and seeding. This is when God laid down His Commandments, giving us the morality, justification, and legality to repent from our offenses, freeing us from the grip of guilt, remorse, and depression. This gives us spiritual liberation not because we confess, fast, or comply but because His Spirit has become our counselor, advocate, and conscience for Righteousness as stated, “(Its) by Grace are you saved through Faith; not of works, lest any man should boast”. - Eph. 2:8. It's when we fight the good fight and as stated; “put on the  whole Armor of God” - Eph. 6:11. It’s our Pentecost! And as stated by Jesus to the disciples; “(you expect) four (easy, light, unhindered) months (period, passing, portion) and then (you) harvest; (but I say) lift (attend, elevate, sturdy) your eyes (focus, concentration, spirit), for the fields are already white for harvest! Jesus means; all seasons can be harvested for souls. There is no reason to wait but to do!

Both New Year starts in autumn, that is, Rosh Hashanah and Advent, which are indicators of a start, birth, or announcement of significance. This establishes the pilgrimage; commonly a foreigner’s journey to a sacred and spiritual place, as stated, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; leaning not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths” - Prov. 3:5. The autumn season is when leaves lose their color and fall from their branches as the land is prepared, barren, and cold. It's when God passes judgement! It’s most likely the season of Jesus’ birth.

One year doesn't end, and another starts.  Because Christians are, as stated, “Not of but are in the world” - Jn. 17:14. This means, regardless of the flesh, we are to only heed the Holy Spirit, which helps us see what the world does not see. The season of changes is occurring steadily, precisely, and forcefully. And every year God’s plan, purposes, and progress are being played out. Every year regardless of being Jew or Christian, both have gematria (Biblical numerology) meanings, including overlapping each other's interpretations, directions, and focus. It is not critical! Why? Because God is always in control! And more outstanding is that God cannot rely on man! For what is man's ultimate role? We are as stated; “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek” - Heb. 7:17. Paul was referring to Jesus but by extension all Christians. Why? Because we are rebirthed by Christ and charged with the same mandate Jehovah-Rohi gave Him that is priestly (in service for God) leadership as it concerns all secular and Spiritual things.

When we are unfaithful, He cannot be Faithful. Yet, His will still remains, and continues whether we are fully aligned with Him or struggle to keep up or wane along the narrow road. God’s pleasures are fulfilled by the signs He gives. Many seek answers from biblical numbers, yet God did not will this as stated; “Hypocrites (Pharisees); You know how to discern the face of the sky (obvious, plain, common), but you cannot discern (recognise, breakdown, conclude) the signs of the times (seasons, events, hour)” - Matt. 16:3. In other words, being obsessed with God’s timeline, events, or actions using numbers often works against how we walk as His people, as stated, “But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law” - Gal. 5:18. Numerology/Gemmatria symbolism depends on strict legalism as does the Law; hence why as stated; “For the Law (is) powerless (being of) the flesh (mind, carnal, inferior), God accomplish (with His) Son” - Rm. 8:3. You know who also depends on strict legalism; satan.

What matters every New Year is not the futility of figuring out God but to heed His will, direction, and Spirit. We are saved but still remain fallen, and it is only during this Age of Grace that an individual, family, or tribe must as stated, “run your race” - Heb. 12:1. We do this by remaining under His shadow of prosperity, protection, peace, and providence; with gratitude in Thanksgiving, Worship, and Praise; ready to face and overcome as stated, “hold fast the profession of our Faith without wavering”. - Heb. 10:23.

Flush it Out! - Happy (Joy) New (rebirth) Year (change) 2026 = 10; as in the

completed consecrated Covenant for Christ’s return. Hallelujah!

As the year echoes across the globe, in nations and cities, many fear the unknown and the coming of Christ. And yes, as the Faithful, we surely are not to fear but revere in Adonai’s return. But not so quick! Many prophecies, events, and changes are still to be fulfilled. Every advent of the New Year sees many churches filled with those seeking rebirth, resolutions, and Revelations. Yet, every New Year following Christ’s Resurrection is not a renewal of seasons but a continuation of God’s Plans, Purposes, and Passions for His universe, creations, and mankind. God does not begin but continues His Legacy of Glory.

The war is not for oceans, nations, or cities. It's for individuals! And as stated, “with the Righteous it's better, than when the wicked rules” - Prov. 29:2. Jehovah-Nissi uses deception, and so does satan. We should not be surprised by this because all are made in God’s image, thinking, and actions. What distinguishes evil from Righteous doers is not their abilities but their motives. These motives will either provide aid or interference from God. Hence why our expressed words are key, as stated, “every word will be judged (justified, measured, evaluated)” - Matt. 12:36. When your words build on the foundations laid by God, then His aid is provided, but when they are not, God is unable to support your prayers as stated: “the double-minded will not receive from God” - Jm. 1:7. The key is to be single minded as God is.

The winter season is a time for hope, meditation, and dedication. These are the underlying reasons for Hanukkah and Christmas. To recognise one’s place in the cycles of birth, life, and death. When things become more crisp, vivid, and focused, as stated, “(keep treasures that do not rot but heavenly ones because your heart will be there)” - Matt. 6:19. It’s the most lonely time of year but also the season when families come together. It's when Faith is tested! This would align with Jesus’ season in the wilderness,

and His temptations.

The Passover and Easter observances are the most critical, occurring in the spring season when new life begins to emerge. They both signify Salvation as well as reflections for Spiritual growth and Blessings. Because if we don’t forget and disown the past, we can never complete our pilgrimage to the Promiseland. This is why Christians must die to themselves only to be resurrected by Jesus’ Blood and mind, and is why, as stated, “For who is born (regenerated, sent, rooted) of God overcomes the world, and has (spiritual) victory (by their) Faith” - 1 Jn. 5:4. It's when we renew, reestablish, and refocus on what is important, invaluable, and irreplaceable. It’s considered the season when Jesus was crucified.

Whatever year, month, or day; words will chart our course; and without corresponding action, they will only die and be scattered in the wasteland of unfulfilled destinies. And this is what every New Year is about! Our destinies as declared, “I (God) know My plans for you” - Jer. 29:11. God could have prophesied, given a word of knowledge, and provided discernment to Adam and Eve. But instead, He allowed their lives to play out, knowing full well their disobedience would cause pain, suffering, and despair. This is the price for free will! Responsibility and accountability! He did this because mankind would need the one exception that would lay the Righteous foundation for the Flood, Christ’s birth, His Resurrection, and ultimately Jesus’ return. God gives generously, but He cannot make

us receive any of it.

All Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers, including the Body, ought to review the New Year with the foundation of Judaism and not with Christianity. This is because, being grafted, the branch still requires the roots that feed it, as stated: “the eye (consciousness, Spirit, foundation) of God is on the Jews” - Ez. 5:5. Anyone who proclaims these offices and does not acknowledge the Jews are of the devil. Run from them! The Jews are tremendously Blessed, but they are also irrevocably destined to suffer. Yet, they will have the ultimate Salvation once Jesus is fully recognized and accepted. And this is the paradox for every Christian in the world. For what the Jews failed to practise because of the Law, we who are Christians have been Blessed enormously, as stated, “the (corner) stone was rejected” - Acts. 4:11. The cornerstone is foundational, structural, and provides accuracy for buildings as stated; “you (gentiles) are the temple (building) of God” - 1 Corth. 3:16. The Christian does not replace the Jew! And to be clear; the Heavenly Hosts records the Christian’s attitudes to the Jew as stated: “what you do to the least of My brethren (flesh, like-minded, extension), you do to Me (Jesus)” - Matt. 25:40. Jesus is not speaking about Christians but His fellow Jews. Think how Jesus was wounded in His heart, experiencing those closest to Him treating Him completely as a stranger and how much more when Christians see them with disdain.

Every year ends and starts with Jesus. It does not matter whether the moon (Jewish) or the sun (Christian) calendar is observed. Both use seasonal celebrations as spiritual restorations, judgments, and declarations by God. These celebrations are opportunities for, as stated, “to clear the threshing floor” - Matt. 3:12, and Lk. 3:17. Hence why most make New Year resolutions only to falter as the year progresses. Because they may believe in the resolutions but lack the Faith to see them through. And this is what God wanted when strategically He allowed satan to enter into the Garden expelling Adam and Eve from it as stated; “cursed (unfruitful, non-producing, condemned) is the ground for your sake (benefit, purpose, lesson); in sorrow you shall eat of it (fruits, results, efforts) all the days (hour, age, appointment) of your life - Gen. 3:17. This appointed their seasons of fear, death, rebirth, and redemption.

We are unable to monitor God with time, much less to know His future. We can only record His plans by the results we see, feel, and experience, such as wars, famines, or victories. And as stated, “(watch, record, marvel) the fig tree withered away” - Matt. 21:19. God gave us this sign to know the season of change, consequences, and completion. Most events recorded in the Bible were not felt, heard, or seen by the world because technology did not exist at that time to curate a worldly view of such things. But today, the internet, especially social media makes all things accessible whether you want it or not. Christians should not hide from technology but use it. For all tools for mankind are from God! He has taken away every excuse for not heeding His Salvation as stated; “knowledge will explode” - Dan. 12:4. God's signs depend on His will! Just as a chess player, He continues to orchestrate strategies to confuse, redirect, and win against His enemies as stated, “Jesus comes like a thief” - 1 Tess. 5:1. He keeps His Hand hidden; only exposing enough to accomplish His goals and to thwart satan’s efforts. There are only three main events that changed the entire world! And Christ’s return will be the fourth!

That would make Him reactionary and not proactive! We often see God’s work linear, but He is all encompassing. Jehovah Sabaoth is always strategic! Genesis paints a picture of a desolate Earth before God started to change every aspect of it. And Jesus tells us He saw satan fall from Heaven like lightning. Therefore satan already inhabited the void Earth as stated, “prince of the power of the air” - Eph. 2:2. Here is the Revelation! God’s presence will turn all things back to Him for His good and Righteous pleasure whether the nations, cities or families. Adam and Eve enjoyed a fruitful Garden which was preserved despite their sin as stated; “(God placed) a flaming sword to guard the (Eden and) the Tree of Life” -  Gen. 3:4. Hence, God charged them to take dominion because He foresaw their disobedience. You only need to take control when there is an opposing force. They would now have to, as stated, “forsake milk and take meat” - 1 Corth. 3:2. They would have to stop being slaves and become sons and daughters and exercise Faith to overcome, subjugate, and thrive despite satan’s presence!

Every year, many accomplish things, but there are always regrets. This is because Faith is not just effort but also confidence, conviction, and credence. The will to be determined to fulfill regardless of opposition, challenges, or adversity. And this is the heritage of our Jewish roots, where God used signs to direct, sustain, and feed them as they traveled through the wilderness. He did it for them therefore He will do it for us! Everyone called by God is told to separate themselves from cultures, traditions, and learnt religion. They chose to follow Jehovah Nissi as stated: “by the pillar (sign, monument, structure) of cloud (presence, overwatch, Glory) by day (time, hour, life) and the pillar of fire (power, covenant, judgement) by night (uncertainty, danger, weakness)” - Ex. 13:21. This laid the foundation for our Christian Salvation! Abraham obeyed God in Faith to sacrifice Issac for the burnt offering, which is for Sanctification rites. Here is the Revelation! Abraham expected God to as stated, “God will provide a lamb (sheep or goat of lesser use)” - Gen. 22:8. But Jehovah Jireh supplied a ram (male sheep), which has more Spiritual significance as it pertains to sin, national reconciliation, and priestly consecration symbolising strength, atonement, and leadership. Jesus Christ is our ram as stated,

“(The)Horn of Salvation” - Lk. 1:69.

Whenever Christians gather, it’s because of the Jew. Because they are not only the benchmark but also the sign(s) for the beginning, continuation, and end of every New Year. Without their observances, Christians would have no reference for their celebrations. These are not set in time annually except for Christmas Day but are established based on seasons, which are determined primarily by the sun and the moon; the heavenly signs, which become complicated with eastern Christian religions. The Jews are the Christian’s indicators of the Spiritual seasons for renewal, change, and progress through the year.

When did God begin? And if He did, when will He end? Everything seen has a birth, and a death; but for Spiritual things, there is no end. And with YHWH; He is both; and as stated; “To every thing there is a season (divine appointment), and a time to every purpose under Heaven” - Ecc.3:1. God’s exact schedule in the Bible is at best vague and only teases with signs in the Heavens, the Earth as stated; “In the beginning (start, from this point, from the origin), God created the heavens (universe) and the Earth” - Gen. 1:1. God has stated; “I (God) make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come (and) My purpose will stand” - Is. 46:9. He is not controlled by time as we apply it and has established signs, not time to be observed! These signs indicate change, both linear and parallel.

There are mainly three types of signs used by God in the heavens to reveal changes on the Earth. Heavenly signs refer to celestial bodies across the vast universe; our solar system and stars as stated, “the star went before them and stopped over where the child was” - Matt. 2:9. Earthly signs refer to natural earthquakes, floods, and technology, as stated, “the flood was on the Earth” - Gen. 7:17. While beneath the Earth, signs include geological changes that affect the oceans, such as seamounts (volcanoes), tectonic plate shifts, and new geological features, as stated, “Let there be a firmament (space, land, obstruction) in the midst of the (main) waters, and let it divide (one) waters from the (other) waters (types)” - Gen. 1:6. All these are accredited by scientists, archaeologists, and geologists.

Noah’s flood affected the world physically. The birth of Christ signified the spiritual Salvation of all mankind. Not the crucifixion but the ascension of Christ pronounced Victory over all types of death regardless of status, cultures, or traditions. And when Jesus Christ comes for His Church, it will pass judgment on the world both physically and spiritually. It will complete God’s seasons of Blessing, Wrath, and Grace. And it will restore and pronounce as stated, “the New Jerusalem” - Rev. 21:2. The place for us and God to commune as Eden was intended for! God is all we can fathom and much more! We do well not to figure out God but to learn, reflect, and appreciate Him as stated, “learn of Me” - Matt. 11:29. Prior to every start of a New Year, men both spiritually and secularly declare words that attempt to accurately predict that year’s changes that will impact the world, countries, and individuals alike. They also do not provide guidelines, rules, or prescriptions to mitigate, avoid, or protect against these events. One often hear several theses on trials, tribulations, and tragedies. Whatever happened to the Good News, and why don't churches celebrate and revel in the time rolling up for Christ’s return? There is nothing new under the sun since God expelled Adam and Eve from the Garden, except for one thing, and one thing only!

Year by year, men have looked, listened, and prepared for what may happen to the world, and usually as the year progresses, many have to retract, revise, or register opinions based on the facts that have abated their predictions, including some from the pulpit apologizing profusely for wrong prophecies. When will man learn? We are not equal to El Shaddai! And to be clear, there are differences in Prophecies, Word of Knowledge, and Discernment. For the most part, New Year Prophecies are nothing more than spiritual discernments, with very few being new and most only repeating what the Bible has already declared. A Word of Knowledge addresses small groups or individuals with specific revelations from the Holy Spirit, while Discernments are insights into specific circumstances, mainly for individuals. Prophecies are on a much larger plain of events. All of these are part of our Covenant with our Father, including His Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding. We do not ignore legit utterings that come from the Spirit of God! But we must receive them with a grain of salt and exercise caution supported not only by prayer, meditation, but especially by the Word. Every war is won with deception, misdirection, and battles! We are at war! And all Christians need to embrace this! And to be clear Christians are not to be pacifist using as stated; “Blessed are the peacemakers” - Matt. 5:9. The Chrsitian peacemaker is one who works for tranquility while not surrendering or apologizing for their Righteous beliefs or avoiding the conflicts required for God’s Truth. In fact; by Christ’s example; we are to confront conflicts recognizing the demonic spirit behind it. Also, Christians need to distinguish being a peacemaker from having the peace of God which is about personal Faith.
